Adding a Stop to Your Route
Before you can add a stop to your route, you must be navigating a route (Starting a Route, page16).
You can add stops to the middle or end of your route. For example, you can add a fuel station as the next
destination in your route.
TIP: To create complex routes with multiple destinations or scheduled stops, you can use the route planner to
plan, schedule, and save a route (Planning a Route, page16).
1 From the map, select > Search.
2 Search for a location (Finding and Saving Locations, page29).
3 Select a location.
4 Select Go!.
5 Select an option:
• To stop the current route and start a new route to the location, select Start New Route.
• To add the location as the next destination in your route, select Add as Next Stop.
• To add the location to the end of your route, select Add as Last Stop.
• To add the location and edit the order of destinations in your route, select Add to Active Route.
Skipping the Next Stop on Your Route
You can skip an upcoming location you previously added to your route.
From the map, select > Yes.
Shaping Your Route
Before you can shape your route, you must start a route (Starting a Route, page16).
You can manually shape your route to change its course without adding a stop.
1 Select a point on the map.
2 Select Shape Route.
The device recalculates the route to include the selected shaping point.
3 Select Go! to accept the new route.
Editing Your Active Route
1 Drag the map to reveal the icon.
2 Select .
3 Select an option:
• To recalculate the route to your next stop using a different route calculation mode, select the new
calculation mode.
• To add a stop or shaping point before your next stop, select Insert.
You can select to search for a location, or you can select a point on the map to add it to your route.
• To rearrange the order of the stops and shaping points along your route, select .
4 When you have finished editing the route, select .
Saving Your Active Route
1 Drag the map to reveal the icon.
2 Select .
3 Select .
4 Select to save the route.
5 If necessary, edit the name of the route, and select Done.
