4-3-2-5 External USB Hard Disk Test

Hard Disk Installation Procedure" on page 8-136 for configuration instructions.

Check the External USB Hard Disk status light
indicators.
Refer to Figure 8-146 on page 8-137.

Create a dummy patient file on the Vivid q N scanner.
Save several images in the patient file.

Export the images to the External USB Hard Disk.

Delete the dummy patient file (including images) from
the Vivid q N database.
The deleted patient file and images are no longer listed.

Import the dummy patient file and images from the
External USB Hard Disk.
The patient file is now listed in the Vivid q N database.

Open the patient file and check that the images are
available for review.
The newly-imported images are displayed correctly on
the Vivid q N scanner.
7
Delete the dummy patient file (including images) from
the Vivid q N database.
The deleted patient file and images are no longer listed.
