8-4-10 USB Board Replacement Procedure
8-4-10-1 Tools
Appropriate socket wrench
8-4-10-2 Preparation
Shut down the Vivid q N ultrasound unit, as described in Chapter 3 - System Setup.
8-4-10-3 USB Board Removal Procedure
1) Turn OFF power to the SafeLock Cart and disconnect the AC power cable from the AC input
assembly at the base of the cart (rear).
2.) Remove the Upper Cover (Rear), as described in the "Upper Cover (Rear) Removal Procedure" on
page 8-66.
3) Disconnect the P6 cable and USB connector from the USB board, as shown in Figure 8-97.
4.) Remove the upper and lower bolts that attach the USB board to the upper frame, as shown in
Figure 8-97.
5) Remove the USB board from the SafeLock Cart.
