Red laser to
prism
• RL-Long Range mode enables distance measurements of over 3.5 km to
standard prisms using the visible red laser beam.
Red laser to
reflector foil
• The visible red laser beam can also be used to measure to reflective foils.
To guarantee the accuracy the red laser beam must be perpendicular to
the reflector foil and it must be well adjusted.
• Make sure the additive constant belongs to the selected target (reflector).
Warning Due to laser safety regulations and measuring accuracy, using the Long Range
Reflectorless EDM is only allowed to prisms that are more than 1000 m
(3300 ft) away.
