Measurement between length marks
CMD instrument measures continuously and saves data. During this
measurement the operator must walk with a quasi-constant speed (at least between
two following length marks). Speed difference causes adequate position error
between those points.
Every time the operator passes by a length mark presses the button on the
probe or “Yes“ key. The length mark coordinates are assigned to the next measured
value.
The functions of individual keys are following:
- Yes /the button on the probe – assign actual length mark to the currently
measured point. The length mark position is increased according to the
“Y-step“.
- No – interruption of the measurement. If the reached position does not agree
with the length mark it is necessary to enter the actual position.
- 0 to 9 or - – opens window for comment and allows entering note for
measured point. Measuring is suspended during note editing.
- F-key + 1 to 6 – switch over the measured value screens. See chapter
Measured value screens.
- F-key + Up / Down / Left / Right – changes scales of histograms or scale
and orientation of the displayed map if it is displayed. See chapter
Measured value screens.
