4 Mechanical installation
The following describes how to mount the door control unit on
the wall.
Danger due to unattended door movement!
The operation of the door without line of sight leads to
dangerous situations for other persons.
▪ Mount the door control with a clear view of the door.
Damage to components due to extreme ambient
conditions!
Extreme ambient conditions at the installation site can damage
the product.
▪ Install the product indoors only.
▪ Protect the product from moisture.
▪ Observe the temperature range and the maximum humidity
during operation (see 3.1).
1. Mounting the control unit in the enclosure
▪ Mount the control unit with 6 screws (M5) on the mounting
plate of the enclosure.
2. Mounting the enclosure on the wall
▪ Do not exceed the permissible loads on walls as well as
connecting and transmission elements.
▪ Choose suitable connecting elements for attachment to the
surface.
▪ Mount the door control at a height of at least 59“ (1.5m)
or according to your local, federal or state standards. For
