7 Mathematical operations
This series of oscilloscopes supports various mathematical operations between analog
channel waveforms, including addition (+), subtraction (-), multiplication (*), division (/)
and FFT.
Tap Next > MATH in the lower left corner of the screen.

7.1 Algebraic operation
The algebra operations supported in the MATH menu are addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division.
Addition: Add the signals from data sources 1 and 2 point by point and display the
results.
Subtraction: Subtracts the signals from data sources 1 and 2 point by point and displays
the results.
Multiplication: Multiply the signals from data sources 1 and 2 point by point and display
the results.
Division: Divide data source 1 and data source 2 signals point by point and display the
results.
Offset
To adjust the vertical displacement of the waveform of the function, please refer to the
section Adjusting the vertical offset, or directly click the numeric keypad to set the value.
For detail, please refer to the section Setting parameters.
Data source
Data source 1: Select data source CH1 to CH4 to perform the operation.
Data source 2: Select data source CH1 to CH4 to perform the operation.
