Before You Start
The device must be connected to a local area network (LAN) that contains an SMTP mail server.
The network must also be connected to either an intranet or the Internet depending on the
locaon of the email accounts to which you want to send nocaons.
Steps
1. Go to System → Network → Advanced → Email .

Congure the email sengs.
Server Authencaon
Check to enable the funcon if the SMTP server requires user authencaon and enter the
user name and password accordingly.
SMTP Server
The IP address of SMTP Server or host name (e.g., smtp.263xmail.com).
SMTP Port
The SMTP port. The default TCP/IP port used for SMTP is 25.
Enable SSL/TLS
Check to enable SSL/TLS if required by the SMTP server.
Sender
The sender's name.
Sender's Address
The sender's address.
Select Receivers
Select the receiver. Up to 3 receivers can be
congured.
Receiver
The receiver's name.
Receiver's Address
The email address of the user to be noed.
Aached Image
Check to send email with aached alarm images. The interval is the me between sending
two subsequent alarm images.
Interval
The
me interval for capturing the aached images.
3. Oponal: Enable the alternate SMTP, and congure the required parameters for alternate SMTP.
When the preferred SMTP is invalid, the device will use alternate SMTP to send emails.

Oponal: Click Test to send a test email.
5. Click Apply.
