<Connecting to the terminals of the Universal Unit>
Required items: phillips screwdriver (for M3 screws), flat-blade screwdriver (tip width 2.6
mm), RTD
Recommended wire diameter:Single strand diameter:0.4 m
m - 1.2 mm (AWG26-16)
Multi-strand:0.2 mm

- 0.75 mm

(AWG24-20)
Standard insulation stripping length: 8 mm
Temperature Measurement with a Resistance Temperature
Detector (RTD)
1 With a Phillips screwdriver,
loosen the screws in the termi-
nal block cover, and lift the
cover.
2 Push in the button on the con-
nector with a flatblade screw-
driver.
3 With the button held in, insert
the cable into the cable con-
nection hole.
6 Replace the terminal block
cover, and tighten the screws.
Torque screws to no more than
0.6 Nm.
4 Release the button.
The cable is locked.
