6.4.1 Sequence of operations for starting crane
 Ensure that all control levers are in the 0/middle position.
 Ensure that the crane is collapsed and unloaded.
 Turn the key switch on the electrical cabinet to the ‘outriggers/driving’ position (1) (see figure 26).
 Switch on the transmitter (figure 14) with button
 Press the ‘activate receiver’ (figure 14) button on the transmitter; the receiver is now activated.
 Start the Yanmar engine as follows:
o After preheating, start the Yanmar engine from the
transmitter (see figure 14) by pressing button .
 Start the electric motor as follows:
o Connect a power cable to the socket provided for this
purpose (see figure 30).
o Switch off the electric motor from the remote control (see
figure 14) by pressing button .
o Use a power cable with a cross-sectional area of at least
2.5 mm
2
and for optimal use a cable with a maximum
length of 25 m.
 Operate levers 3 and 4 on the transmitter at the same time to drive in
the direction indicated by the arrow and operate just one lever to
steer.
 The driving direction is indicated by an arrow on the crawler track
undercarriage (see figure 31).
 The Yanmar engine has a fixed speed, unless fitted with the ‘actuator’
option, in which case the speed is temporarily increased when a crane
function is operated.
 Stop the compact crane by releasing the levers; they return to the centre position automatically.
 Stop the Yanmar engine from the transmitter (see figure 14) by pressing button
