Activate the transmitter and start the drive system.
Extend the outriggers of the compact crane until the outrigger legs are
horizontal by pushing forward levers 1, 2, 5 and 6 on the transmitter
one at a time.
Remove the pin from the extendable section (see figure 34), pull the
extendable section out to the white stripe (see figure 35) and lock it in
place.
Position the four outrigger legs of the compact crane so that the
outriggers are level, using rig mats or outrigger pads.
