4. PROPELLER SHAFT HOLDER
ASSEMBLY [*1]
a. REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the following parts.
– Propeller (P. 14-2)
– Gear case assembly (P. 14-3)
–Water pump/shift rod (P. 14-7)
1) Remove the two 10 mm washers and the two 10 x 40 mm
flange bolts.
2) Insert a screwdriver or equivalent tool into the recess in the
propeller shaft holder and remove the propeller shaft
holder assembly from the gear case.
Installation is the reverse order of removal.
