the existence of the Aserv
er pro cesses bytyping
ps -e | grep Aserver
You should see two Aserver pro cesses. If the serv
er is not running, start the
audio server by hand bytyping the follo wing:
/usr/audio/bin/Aserver
Then type the following:
ps -e | grep Aserver
Check that there are two active server pro cesses.
6. Start the demonstration program bytyping the following:
/usr/audio/bin/audio_demo
There is also online help for the demonstration program.
To use the Audio Editor for playback, recording and editing, type the
following:
/usr/audio/bin/audio_editor
