The HP BladeSystem c-Class Enclosure Troubleshooting Guide provides procedures and solutions for
troubleshooting HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures. This guide explains how to use the Insight Display to
troubleshoot enclosures, and it includes a flowchart to help you navigate the troubleshooting process. To
view the guide, see the HP website (http://www.hp.com/support/BladeSystem_Enclosure_TSG_en).

Onboard Administrator errors
If an error occurs, the Onboard Administrator displays an error message on the Insight Display. In addition,
the Onboard Administrator also displays error messages in e-mail alerts and SNMP traps when this feature
has been configured. For more information, see the HP BladeSystem Onboard Administrator User Guide.
The HP Onboard Administrator provides a detailed SHOW ALL report on the full enclosure configuration,
status, and inventory available. This report can be generated in two ways:
• OA GUI>Enclosure settings>Enclosure configuration scripts
• OA CLI>Execute the following CLI command: SHOW ALL
Review this inventory report where appropriate and have this report on hand available when contacting HP

Server blade diagnostic tools
HP Insight Diagnostics
HP Insight Diagnostics is a proactive server blades or workstation blades management tool, available in both
offline and online versions, that provides diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities to assist IT
administrators who verify server blades or workstation blades installations, troubleshoot problems, and
perform repair validation.
HP Insight Diagnostics Offline Edition performs various in-depth system and component testing while the OS
is not running. To run this utility, launch the SmartStart CD.
HP Insight Diagnostics Online Edition is a web-based application that captures system configuration and
other related data needed for effective server blades or workstation blades management. Available in
Microsoft® Windows® and Linux versions, the utility helps to ensure proper system operation.
