12.5.2 Installing the Monitoring Signal Cable for the -48 V DC
Cabinet
This section describes the procedures and precautions for installing the monitoring signal cable
between the cabinets based on -48 V DC power supply.
Scenario: 1 RFC+1 TMC11H
If a site is configured with one RFC and one TMC11H, the monitoring cables are installed before
the equipment is delivered. If one more RFC is configured, one monitoring cable is required on
site.
Context
Figure 12-52 shows the configurations of two RFCs and one TMC11H.

Procedure
Step 1 Install the monitoring signal cable between the cascaded CMUAs between the RFC and the
extension RFC. Connect one end of the cable to the COM_OUT port on the CMUA in the fan
box of the RFC and the other end to the COM_IN port on the CMUA in the fan box of the
extension RFC, as shown in Figure 12-53.
