1. Press the ejector release buttons on the filler panel. See (1) in Figure 3-40.

2. Completely open the ejector levers on the filler panel. See (2) in Figure 3-40.
3. Pull the filler panel out of the chassis. See (3) in Figure 3-40.
4. Close the ejector levers on the filler panel. See (4) in Figure 3-40.
5. Place the removed filler panel in an accessory recycling bin.
Step 4 Install the compute node.
1. (Optional) Remove a partition board. Perform this operation only when there is a
partition board in the slot where a full-width compute node is to be installed.
a. Press and hold down the hole and push the partition board inwards. See (1) and (2)
in Figure 3-41.

b. Tilt the partition board rightwards and remove it. See (3) and (4) in Figure 3-41.
2. Press the ejector release buttons on the full-width compute node. See (1) in Figure 3-42.
