Figure 5-12 Solar-grid-genset hybrid scenario network diagram (multiple products
connected in parallel)
In the solar-grid-genset hybrid scenario, the power system works circularly as
follows. The power source preference sequence is solar power > grid > battery >
genset.
1. If both solar power and grid power are available and batteries are fully
charged, solar power is preferentially supplied to loads. If solar power is
insucient, both solar power and battery supply power loads.
2. If both solar power and grid power are available, the grid power is supplied to
loads and solar power charges batteries when batteries discharge to the
cut-
o capacity.
3. When solar power is available but grid power is unavailable, if solar power is
sucient, it is supplied to loads and charges batteries; if solar power is
insucient, solar power and batteries power loads at the same time.
4. When solar power is unavailable but grid power is available, grid power is
supplied to loads and charges batteries.
5. If neither solar power nor grid power is available, batteries supply power to
loads. When the battery DOD reaches the
specied value, the genset is
started. If grid power is available or the batteries are fully charged, the genset
is shut down.
