3.8 Exhausting Nitrogen
Context
Before welding refrigerant pipes, fully exhaust nitrogen from the refrigerant pipes to avoid
explosion and injuries.
Procedure
Step 1 Remove the valve bonnet of discharge pipe needle valve, as shown in Figure 3-23. Connect
the needle valves using rubber tubes with pressure gauge.
