6. Does the I/O drawer power on?
No Go to step 13 on page 99.
Yes Go to step 7.
7. Are all I/O drawers powered on (green LEDs are on for both supplies in each
I/O drawer)?
Note: The I/O drawer requires two identical power supplies to be installed. Ten
minutes of operation on one power supply is allowed for the I/O drawer for
service.
No A secondary drawer will not power on. Go to step 8.
Yes This ends the procedure. Go to ″Map 0410: Repair Checkout″ in the
Diagnostic Information for Multiple Bus Systems
8. Are all SPCN cables from and to the secondary I/O drawer(s) connected
properly and firmly seated?
No Go to step 22 on page 99.
Yes Go to step 9.
9. Is only one secondary I/O drawer not powering on?
No Go to step 23 on page 99.
Yes Go to step 17 on page 99.
10. Replace the following:
a. Power distribution card
b. Drawer indicator panel
c. Fan monitoring card
d. Both power supplies
e. I/O planar.
11. Does the I/O drawer power on?
No Go to step 15 on page 99.
Yes Go to step 12.
