Serial Port Selection Menu
You can enable and/or disable the call-in and call-out functions of each serial port in
any combination from this menu:

Note: For security, if the service processor detects an operator panel battery failure,
the serial port dial-in capability is disabled. See Service Processor Call-In
Security on page 471 for more information.
Serial Port Speed Setup Menu
Serial port speed can be set for terminal performance or to accommodate modem
capabilities using this menu:

1. Serial Port 1 Speed:
Currently 9600
2. Serial Port 2 Speed:
Currently 9600

A serial port speed of 9600 baud or higher is recommended. Valid serial port speeds
are as follows:
