Replacing the fan cage assembly
To replace the fan cage assembly, complete the following steps:
1. Make sure that no backplane cables or other cables are in the way before you
install the fan cage assembly.
2. Align the tabs on the fan cage assembly with the slots on both sides of the
chassis and lower it into the server.

3. Rotate the fan cage assembly release latches down until the release latches are
in the locked position.
Replacing the server top cover
To replace the server cover, complete the following steps:
1. Make sure that all cables, adapters, and other components are installed and
seated correctly and that you have not left loose tools or parts inside the server.
Also, make sure that all internal cables are correctly routed.
