Memory Checkout
DIMMs are available for increasing memory capacity.
Note: The Models 765L and 765D have a dip switch on
the DIMM adapter card. If you are installing a
64-MB 2-bank DIMM, move the the dip switch to
the left. The memory (8 MB) on the DIMM adapter
card is disabled.
You can install a 64-MB 2-bank DIMM in slot 2. If
you try to install the it in slot 1, it will not be
recognized as 64MB DIMM.
Memory errors might stop system operations, show error
messages on the screen, or hang the system.
Use the following procedure to isolate memory problems:
