Hot add of an I/O Book

2. Open the I/O Book cam handle.
3. For the Full-length I/O Book, install the supporting brackets and top cover that come with
the book.
4. Align the I/O Book with the slot in the server and slide it into the server. Ensure that it is
seated properly.
5. Rotate the handle all the way up and push it into the server until the handle locks in place.
6. Press the Attention button to initiate a hot add:
The Power indicator will blink for 5 seconds (power transition).
Press the Attention button again while blinking to cancel the hot add.
