3.10.5 IBM High IOPS adapter
The IBM High IOPS SSD PCIe Adapters are high performance SSD storage adapters with
very low latency. Depending on the workload, the High IOPS adapter can deliver throughput
of up to 900,000 IOPS and latency less than 100 microseconds.
Table 3-13 shows available IBM High IOPS adapter options.

3.10.6 External disk storage expansion
The server supports attachment to external storage expansion enclosures, such as the
EXP2500 series, by using the ServeRAID M5120 SAS/SATA Controller. The server can also
be attached to supported external storage systems, such as the IBM System Storage
DS3500 series, using a supported HBA.
Table 3-14 lists the supported RAID controller and HBA for external storage connectivity.
