The CO
2
content in the incubation chamber is measured and regu-
lated using a CO
2
sensor. This is mounted on the right side of the
back wall of the incubation chamber.
4.4.2 Connection Conditions
The in-house gas supply and connecting hose must meet the follow-
ing requirements:
Gas supply
Constant input pressure not exceeding 0.5 bar (± 0.1)
Only use clean, dry, oil and dust free gas.
Hoses
Use only pressure-resistant and intact hoses.
The hose must have an appropriate diameter; an adapter may
be used, if necessary.
Secure hoses using appropriate clamps.
4.4.3 Operating the CO
2
Control
The CO
2
control is operated using the
CO
2
parameter. The top alpha-
numeric display shows the actual value in
%
with the symbol
CO
2
prevent large amounts of CO
2
from escaping, the CO
2
control is de-
activated automatically while the door is open.
