Mirage Stitches
Sew Mirage stitch and open the fabric to make patterns
without connecting straight stitches.
There are two ways to sew the Mirage stitch patterns
(sewing on one or two pieces of fabric).
A: Sewing on one piece of fabric
Fold the fabric with the right sides together.
Place a sheet of stabilizer under the fabric.
(1) Right side of the fabric
(2) Sheet of stabilizer
Attach satin stitch foot F to the machine.
Sew the Mirage patterns with the marker on the presser
foot along the fabric edge as shown.
Sew the connecting straight stitches on the right side of
the fabric edge (on the sheet of stabilizer) as shown.
(3) Marker
In the Mirage stitch, you can adjust the stitch length of
the decorative stitch part and connecting straight stitch
part separately.
Press the setting bar to expand the manual setting
window.

Adjust decorative stitch length adjusting key or
connecting straight stitch adjusting key.

B: Sewing on two pieces of fabrics
Sew the fabric this way when you want to use two
different fabrics on the right and left.
Place two pieces of fabric with the right sides together.
Place the sheet of stabilizer under the fabric.
(1) Right side of the fabric
(2) Sheet of stabilizer
Sew the fabric while keeping a constant seam allowance.
(9) Seam allowance
Open the fabric at to hide the connecting straight
stitches.
NOTE:
Use a medium fabric (such as sheeting, broadcloth)
for Mirage stitch patterns. Using ne fabrics may
cause wrinkles when opened.
