The Status LED in 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 Ethernet network port indicates the status
of one of the three port parameters. The port parameters are administrative status, speed,
and duplex mode status.
Table 6 on page 16 describes the Status LED.

Green—Administrative status enabled.

Yellow—The port is down.

Indicates the speed. The speed indicators are
different in the line cards.
LED: SPD

Unlit—10 Mbps
•
Green—Blinking—100 Mbps
•
Green—On steadily—1000 Mbps
Indicates the duplex mode. The status
indicators are:
•
Green—Port is set to full-duplex mode.
•
Unlit—Port is not set to full-duplex mode.
