2.5.1 Setting Up the USB Connection (cont.)
b. A default network ID of 0 has been programmed into the Base Station. You can use
this ID or enter a new Network ID, from 0 to 9 or A to F.
• To obtain the programmed ID, click on the Get Network ID button. The software
obtains the programmed ID from the Base Station.
• To enter a different Network ID, use the arrow keys next to the text box.
c. Click
OK to confirm the settings and return to the Preferences screen.
Note: Be sure that the ID number at the back of each Logger matches the network ID
number programmed in this window.
By clicking the
Set USB button, you set the static IP address on your PC to correspond to
the static IP address of the USB-to-Ethernet converter used in the Base Station. The
software performs this function on startup, but you may need to perform it here if, for
example, the USB cable was plugged in after startup.
