29 Communication with external devices (printer / PC)
The following options are available for data exchange via the RS 232C interface or
USB with external devices.
Manual
- After printing the PRINT-key
Automatic
- After the stability sign has appeared on the display
Continuous
- When function is enabled or via remote control command
The following conditions must be met to provide successful communication between
the balance and the external devices.
Disconnect balance from the power supply and connect to the device interface
with a suitable cable. Faultless operation requires an adequate KERN
interface cable.
For communication parameters of the RS 232 interface (baud rate, bits and
parity) for the balance and the external device must match.
