*OPC?
Operation Complete Command and Query. *OPC command sets "Operation Complete" (bit 0) in the Standard
Event Register at the completion of the current operation. *OPC? query returns 1 (decimal value of bit 0) to the out-
put buffer after all pending commands complete. This query enables you to synchronize your application with the
instrument.

Returns 1 when the command is complete: *OPC?
– Other commands may be executed before *OPC is set.
– Other commands cannot be executed until the *OPC? completes.
– The differences between *OPC and *OPC? is that *OPC sets a status bit when the operation completes, and
*OPC? outputs "1" when the operation completes.
*PSC {0|1}
*PSC?
Power-On Status Clear Command and Query. Enables (1) or disables (0) the clearing of certain enable registers at
power-on:
– Questionable Data Register (STATus:QUEStionable:ENABle command)
– Standard Operation Register (STATus:OPERation:ENABle command)
– Alarm Register (STATus:ALARm:ENABle command)
– Standard Event Register (*SRE command)
– Status Byte Register (*ESE command)
The *PSC command does not affect the clearing of the condition or event registers. Only the enabled
registers will be cleared.
