If you select autoranging (by specifying "AUTO" or "DEF") and specify a discrete value for the <resolution> para-
meter, the integration time selected based on the default range for the function (1 A for AC or DC current meas-
urements).
– Autorange thresholds:
Down range at: <10% of range
Up range at:>120% of range
– Because this command resets all measurement parameters on the specified channels to their default values, be
sure to send the CONFigure command before setting any other measurement parameters.
– If the input signal is greater than can be measured on the selected AC voltage range (manual ranging, see
FREQuency:VOLTage:RANGe command), the instrument gives an overload indication: "±OVLD" from the front
panel or "±9.9E+37" from the remote interface.
– For AC measurements, the resolution is fixed at 6½ digits. The only way to control the reading rate for AC meas-
urements is by changing the channel delay or by setting the AC filter to the highest frequency limit.
– The *RST command will clear the scan list and set all measurement parameters to their factory settings. The
Instrument Preset (SYSTem:PRESet command) will not clear the scan list; however, this command will clear read-
ing memory and all stored statistical data.
CONFigure:DAC:OUTPut (@<ch_list>)
Only supported on DAC output channels (channel 04 and 05) in DAQM907A multifunction module.
Configures the DAC output channels (channel 04 and 05) in the DAQM907A multifunction module. This command
redefines the scan list.
The CONFigure command does not place the instrument in the "wait-for-trigger" state. Use the INITiate or READ?
command in conjunction with CONFigure to place the instrument in the "wait-for-trigger" state.
Parameter Typical return
(none) (none)
Configure and read a default DACoutput measurement on channel 104:
CONF:DAC:OUTP (@104)
READ?
Typical Response: -5.74962483E-12
– For the DAC output channels, no actual output measurement is made; the scanned value will be the
programmed output value (voltage or current). For example, if channel 04 is set to voltage mode, then the
corresponding channel 06 will measure current. If the output channel is set to current mode, the sense channel
will measure voltage.
– This command is useful when using DAC to control the measurements, varying the output from time-to-time,
and record the sweep data of DAC settings in fact for that sweep.
