8. DOWNLOADING DATA FROM DATA LOGGER
8.1. MODBUS (RS485) DATA DOWNLOAD
To download data from the data logger connect it to PC via USB/RS-485 or RS-232/RS-
485 serial converter and use
Logy Soft
delivered with the device. Description of
Logy
Soft
can be found in further chapter of this manual.
8.2. USB PC DATA DOWNLOAD
To download data from the data logger connect it to PC via USB cable and use
Logy
Soft
delivered with the device after installing drivers from the manufacturer's website. After
connect
USB cable Windows system will recognize and connect the appropriate COM port. Description
of
Logy Soft
can be found in further chapter of this manual.
Simultanous use of both communication ports (RS-485 and USB PC) isn't possible.
User must select and use one of them.
8.3. USB FLASH DRIVE (PENDRIVE) DATA DOWNLOAD
If data logger is equipped with USB Host interface, then the stored data can be
downloaded from the data logger without
PC
connection.

Before using a FlashDrive, format it in Windows system to FAT or FAT32 file
system. During formatting operation set the parameters according to the
table below.

If data logger errors occur during read / write operation using FlashDrive,
format it as shown in notice 1.

For FlashDrive grater than 16 GB, proper read / write operations are not
guaranteed.
To get data from
Data
Logger
device plug a FlashDrive to USB Host port, located on the front
panel of the device.
The following message will appear after a few seconds:
