An improperly parked machine can start to move in an uncontrolled manner or tip over. People
may be crushed and killed.
• Park the machine on a stable, horizontal and even surface.
• Before adjusting, repairing, maintaining or cleaning the machine, ensure that it is securely
positioned.
• Keep the tailgate closed.

Unattended parking
Adults and especially children are at risk from an inadequately secured and unattended parked
machine.

Environmental protection and disposal

Danger of fire
Combustible materials can accumulate in the machine due to operation or animals such as
rodents or nesting birds or dust resuspension.
In case of dry operating conditions, dust, impurities and crop residues may ignite on hot parts
and cause fires that can seriously injure or kill people.
• Check and clean the machine every day before using it for the first time.
• Check and clean the machine regularly during the working day.

Life-threatening electric shock from overhead lines
The machine can reach the height of overhead lines when the tailgate is open. This may cause
voltage to flash over to the machine and cause a fatal electric shock or a fire.
• Keep a safe distance from electric overhead lines when opening the tailgate.
• Never open the tailgate in the vicinity of pylons and overhead lines.
