16.3.8 Removing oil filter

– Remove screws. Remove the oil filter cover 1 with the O-ring.
– Pull oil filter 2 out of the oil filter housing.

– Remove screws. Remove the oil filter cover 3 with the O-ring.
– Pull oil filter 4 out of the oil filter housing.

16.3.9 Removing thermostat

– Remove screws. Take off the thermostat case 1 with the radiator hose.
– Pull out the thermostat 2.
16.3.10 Setting engine to ignition top dead center

– Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise until markings 1 of the camshafts are flush
with the marks of the camshaft support plate.

– Remove screw 2.

Look through the hole to check that the position hole of the balancer shaft
is visible.
– Screw in special tool 3.
