19 LUBRICATION SYSTEM 167
Change the oil filter. Check oil pumps for wear. Check that all oil holes are
clear.
Switch off the engine.
Warning
Danger of burnsSome vehicle components get very hot when the machine
is driven.
Wear appropriate protective clothing and safety gloves. In case of burns,
rinse immediately with lukewarm water.
Remove the special tools.
Mount and tighten screw 1.

Screw, unlocking of timing chain ten-

M10x1 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)

Drain the engine oil only when the engine is warm.

Place a suitable container under the engine.
Remove the oil drain plug 1 with the magnet and seal ring.
Completely drain the engine oil.
