– Remove stop disk 1 and first-gear idler gear 2.
– Remove needle bearing 3 and stop disk 4.
– Remove fifth-gear sliding gear 5 and lock ring 6.
– Remove stop disk 7 and third-gear idler gear 9.
– Remove needle bearing 8 and the fourth-gear idler gear bl.
– Remove needle bearing bk and stop disk bm.
– Remove lock ring bn and sixth-gear sliding gear bo.
– Remove lock ring bp and stop disk bq.
– Remove the second-gear idler gear br and bearing bush bs.

Condition
The transmission has been disassembled.

– Check needle bearing 1 for damage and wear.
» If there is damage or wear:
– Change the needle bearing.
– Check the pivot points of main shaft 2 and countershaft 3 for damage and wear.
» If there is damage or wear:
– Change the main shaft and/or countershaft.
– Check the tooth profiles of main shaft 2 and countershaft 3 for damage and wear.
» If there is damage or wear:
– Change the main shaft and/or countershaft.
– Check the pivot points of idler gears 4 for damage and wear.
» If there is damage or wear:
– Change the gear wheel pair.
– Check the shift dogs of idler gears 4, sliding gears 5, and fixed gear 6 for damage and wear.
» If there is damage or wear:
– Change the gear wheel pair.
– Check the tooth faces of idler gears 4, sliding gears 5, and fixed gear 6 for damage and wear.
» If there is damage or wear:
– Change the gear wheel pair.
– Check the tooth profiles of sliding gears 5 for damage and wear.
» If there is damage or wear:
– Change the gear wheel pair.
– Check sliding gears 5 for smooth operation in the profile of main shaft 2.
