5. Installation
5.1 Setup
5.2 Removal of the plug (M-Series only)
Remove the plug from the exhaust line before switching the unit on.
To remove the plug press the release ring in the direction of the device so
that the locking device releases. Pull the plug out while release ring is
pressed.
Danger from moisture and electricity
Moisture penetrating the device can lead to personal injury from electric
shocks and to material damage from short circuits.
Only operate the TITANTEST™ in a dry environment.
Operate the TITANTEST™ away from sources of liquid and moisture.
Position the device so that you can always reach the mains plug and dis-
connect the device from the mains by unplugging the mains plug.
Material damage due to overheating
The device heats up during operation and can overheat without sufficient
ventilation.
Please note the technical data (see page 10).
Ensure sufficient ventilation, especially on the ventilation slots left and
right of the device: at least 20 cm of free space on the sides, at least 10
cm in the front and rear.
Keep heat sources away from the device.
Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
