7. Press the seal ring into the
drawer to retain the cover
glass.

8. Align the upper cover glass
drawer so the (2) captive M3
SHCS are in line with the M3
tapped holes in the head.
9. Insert the drawer fully into the
slot in the head.
10. Tighten the (2) captive M3
SHCS.
5.4 Servicing the Breakaway
Insulator
The tip assembly contains an internal
breakaway insulator (PLISR0041) that
fractures to protect the head during a
crash. See Figure 56.
The tip assembly nut will remain
threaded on the head.
The remaining parts of the tip assembly
may fall from the head.
