Leica DVM6C
On the Leica DVM6 C (10 450 701), the focus drive and XY stage are
encoded (i.e. equipped with a position measuring system) and can only
be operated manually.
Illumination and image acquisition are controlled exclusively via the Leica
LAS X software.

On the Leica DVM6S (10 450 702), the focus drive is encoded and can be
operated both motorized and manually; the XY stage is encoded and can
only be operated manually.
Illumination and image acquisition are controlled exclusively via the Leica
LAS X software. An autofocus function is used to bring the sample into
sharp focus using the motorized focus drive.
