General instructions
O The Leica LED5000 SLI (10 450 548) is an
optional, external illumination option for
incident light applications.
O Its flexible double-armed gooseneck and
integrated LED spotlights ensure maximum
versatility when adjusting the contrast.
O Steep LED position for low contrast and
more uniform illumination, or flat LED posi-
tion for stronger shading and contrast.
O The Leica LED5000 SLI is controlled using
the Leica LAS X software.
O The intensity of the illumination can be
adjusted in 10 increments.
O It can also be operated using the separate
gooseneck with integrated control unit.
Control unit
1. Use the
key to switch the illumination
on or off.
2. Use the
or keys to adjust the bright-
ness in 10 increments.
3. Touch the
key to switch to single spot
mode.
4. If only one spotlight is active, you can
enable both spotlights using the
key.

When pressing the buttons, hold the
keypad between your thumb and index
finger. Avoid tapping the keypad with just one
finger if possible.
