Instructions for safe assembly
•
Never touch the electrical contacts of
the transmitted light stage.
•
Hold the transmitted light stage firmly
during assembly and disassembly so
that it does not fall onto the XY stage.

The transmitted light stage 10450712 is
not included in the standard delivery of
the LeicaDVM6.

You must switch off the illumination
when installing or removing the trans-
mitted light stage.
Assembly

Remove any samples from the XY stage.
Rotate the focus drive downwards to
create more room for assembly.
1. Remove the stage plate from the XY stage.

The stage plate is secured to the XY stage
by magnets. It may take a certain amount
of force to remove them as a result.
2. Ensure correct orientation. The socket on
the transmitted light stage has to meet the
contact pins in the XY stage.
3. Insert the transmitted light stage into the
XY stage so that it fits properly.

Please note that the transmitted light
stage is larger and taller than the stage
plate.
