11.3 Diagnostic data
• The I/O device sends an alarm message to the I/O controller to signalise the diagnostic data be-
low.
• Errors and warnings of the Inverter Drive 8400 and the module connected to it are sent to the
IO controller as extended diagnostic messages.
• With code C13887
, the transmission of an alarm message can be suppressed for specific error
messages.
• The diagnostic data can be displayed using the hexadecimal representation of the Siemens S7
engineering tool.
