5.1 Important notes
5.1.1 Protection of persons
Danger!
ƒ Before working on the regenerative power supply module, check that no
voltage is applied to the power terminals.
Some power terminals remain live for at least three minutes after mains
disconnection.
ƒ For controllers in DC−bus operation
the controller must be inhibited.
the controller must be separated from the mains.
ƒ The discharge current to PE is > 3.5 mA; i.e. a fixed installation is required
and PE must be connected according to EN 61800−5−1.
Earth−leakage circuit breaker
We recommend e.l.c.b.s to protect persons and animals ( 104).
Pluggable terminal strips
All pluggable terminals must only be plugged on or removed when no voltage is applied!
Disconnecting the controller from the mains
Make a safety connection between the controller and mains only via a contactor at the
input side.
