(3) Checking Brake oil
z Open the Bonnet and check the brake oil level. If
the oil level is between “MAX” and “MIN”, it
means “Proper amount”. If necessary, add the
brake oil.
z Make sure to check the specification, before
adding oil.
For oil specification, see section 5-3, “Lubricants
and Capacity” or the last page in this manual.
z If the oil is discolored or foreign materials are
mixed, replace the oil with a new one.
z After changing oil, bleed the air from the brake
and clutch line. If possible, contact your
authorized local dealer.

Brake oil tank
▶ If any part of clutch or brake line is replaced or the oil is changed, execute air-
bleeding. Air in the brake and clutch line can cause to serious faults of brake and
clutch operation and fatal physical injury.
▶ If the specific oil is not used, even though a little amount, it can cause serious
faults of clutch and brake devices. In this case, all of brake and clutch device must
be serviced. Contact your authorized local dealer.
▶ If engine is very hot, it may cause serious burns. After the engine is cooled down
sufficiently, check the brake oil level.
