(8) 4WD switch
z Press the upper side of switch for Four wheel
drive.(4WD)
z Press the switch lower side for 2WD.
z Front wheel drive (4WD) is effective for the
followings.
-When traction is needed in plow ground.
-When working on slippery ground.
-When working with tiller on hard ground.
-When crossing a ridge
▶ When driving on public road, disengage the 4WD. If not, it may cause damage of
drive line and serious accident. After working, before coming out from the field,
select 2WD.
▶ When driving the tractor at high speed while the 4WD is engaged, sharp steering
may cause a accident.

540E PTO switch
(9) 540E PTO switch (if fitted)
z If PTO gear lever is placed on 750/540E position,
and PTO switch and 540E PTO switch is “ON”,
the 540E PTO mode is ready.
z In this mode, the engine maximum speed is
restricted below the designated speed
automatically.
z To exit the 540E PTO mode, reduce the engine
speed to idle rpm and press the downside of the
540E PTO switch.
▶ If PTO switch or 540E PTO switch is placed on “OFF” position or PTO gear lever is
not placed on 750/540E position unintentionally while the engine maximum speed is
restricted, The 540E PTO mode may be exited and the engine speed can be
increased suddenly.
▶ Before exiting the 540E PTO mode, lower the engine speed to idle rpm.
