4.11 Transport System (Optional)
The header can be equipped with a set of transport wheels so that the header can be towed by a windrower, combine, or
tractor. This option is available for use with 9.1, 10.7, and 12.2 m (30, 35, and 40 ft.) headers.
Refer to 5.3.2 Stabilizer / Slow Speed Transport Wheels, page 250 for more information.
4.11.1 Checking Wheel Bolt Torque
The transport wheel bolt torque should be checked after one operating hour following the installation of the wheels, and
every 100 operating hours thereafter.

1. Torque wheel bolts to 110 120 Nm (8090 lbf·ft) using the
sequence shown at right.
IMPORTANT:
Whenever a wheel is removed and reinstalled, check the
wheel bolt torque after one hour of operation and every
100 hours thereafter.
