See Crane Weights in Section 1 and Shipping Data on Page
5 for overall weight of the crane and individual weights of
components.
HANDLING COMPONENTS
The major components are equipped with lifting lugs which
are identified in the assembly and disassembly steps.
When lifting lugs are not provided, use nylon lifting slings. If
wire rope or chain slings are used, install protective covering
(such as sections of rubber tire) between slings and
component being lifted.
It is owner’s/user’s responsibility to ensure that all
lifting slings, hooks, and shackles are in safe working
order and capable of handling loads applied to them.

Connecting pins are retained in various ways:
• Snap pins
• Quick-release pins
• Cotter pins

Do not operate crane until all connecting pins are installed
and properly retained.
