CHECKS
Check for damage to pawl linkage. Check pawl or pawl actuator/cylinder for freedom of movement.
Problem 26
Pawl on boom, luffing jib, or mast hoist is not operating correctly.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Mechanical hang-up; No hydraulic pressure; No voltage to pawl
solenoid; Bad wiring connection; Actuator/cylinder failure.

Check wiring. Consult dealer/factory.
When enabling problem pawl (brake) switch, check hydraulic pawl cylinder for 350 psi (24
bar) at valve cylinder ports. (Luffing jib and boom hoist have pawls are electrically enabled.)

or shuttle valve manifold?

Repair or replace control valve.
Readjust function charge pressure
relief valve. Does this solve problem?
