7.6.1 General inspection
• Pay attention to any unusual running noises from the transmission.
• Check the transmission and the connections for leaks.
The transmission can be checked at various inspection openings
within the chassis:
In the event of leaking consumables:
à Check the oil level, p. 7 - 41.
• Check that pipes and hoses are tightly connected and undamaged.
From the rear transmission area, two hoses run to the transmission oil
cooler. The transmission oil cooler is located within the radiator unit 1;
à p. 7 - 20.
If any damage is found, report it to Manitowoc Crane Care or an authorised
GROVE dealer or an authorised specialist workshop.
