7.9 Axle lines
• Comply also with the run-in regulations; à p. 4 - 1.
7.9.1 General inspection
• Pay attention to any unusual running noises from the axle centre drives
and the final drives.
• Check the axle centre drives/final drives and the connections for leaks. In
the event of leaking consumables;
à Axle centre drives – checking the oil level, p. 7 - 55,
à Final drives – Checking the oil level, p. 7 - 61.
• Check that pipes and hoses are tightly connected and undamaged.
If any damage is found, report it to Manitowoc Crane Care or an authorised
GROVE dealer or an authorised specialist workshop.

Prerequisites – The truck crane must be raised on outriggers or parked over an inspec-
tion pit.
